On Wednesday, Israeli forces engaged in a high-risk operation in the hostile village of Silat al-Harithiya, located near the terror-plagued city of Jenin. During the mission, multiple terrorists launched improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at IDF soldiers in a deliberate and deadly attempt to harm Israeli personnel.
In a swift and decisive response, Israeli soldiers returned fire with lethal accuracy, eliminating one terrorist and seriously wounding two others. The IDF confirmed no injuries to its personnel, showcasing once again the discipline and effectiveness of Israelโs elite combat units operating in the most volatile environments.

These operations led to the arrest of eight wanted individuals, all suspected of involvement in planning and executing acts of terror against Israeli civilians and security personnel.

During the same operations, forces also seized two illegal Carlo-style submachine guns, homemade weapons commonly used by Palestinian terror groups in attacks against Israelis. The arrested individuals and the confiscated weapons were transferred into the custody of Shin Bet and the Israel Police for interrogation and further investigation.
