In a harrowing revelation that underscores the brutal reign of terror Hamas imposes on the very people it claims to protect, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released graphic footage on Sunday showing a Palestinian man being publicly executed in Gaza City by an alleged Hamas militant. The cold-blooded killing took place in a crowded square and was carried out without hesitation — a message to anyone who dares defy the Islamist terror group.

The execution, described by Israeli officials as “exceptional documentation” of Hamas’s internal repression, appears to be part of a broader and escalating campaign by the terror group to instill fear among Gaza’s civilians — particularly those seeking humanitarian aid from the American-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

Since the arrival of the GHF — a high-impact NGO secured by U.S. contractors and operating under American oversight — Hamas has ramped up its violence against civilians. With GHF reportedly reaching nearly three-quarters of Gaza’s population, Hamas is desperate to stop the flow of aid it cannot control or exploit.

Disturbing Evidence: Hamas Gunning Down Its Own

The footage released by COGAT (Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories) and presented by General Ghassan Alian depicts the chilling moment a civilian is shot dead in public. Witnesses stood frozen in horror as the Islamist gunman executed the man in cold blood — likely suspected of cooperating with or benefiting from the GHF’s operations.

Alian said the video is an example of “a desperate, further, and failed attempt to sow public fear in order to preserve Hamas's rule, power, and governance, while cynically trampling on and exploiting the residents of Gaza for the survival of the Hamas terrorist regime and the preservation of its rule.”

In a scathing direct message to Gaza’s residents, General Alian stated:

“Hamas, terrorists, and criminals are killing you and do not care about your lives. There is no difference between a dictator who kills in silence and a terrorist who massacres openly. Both are your enemies and the enemies of life.”

A Campaign of Terror Against Aid

Since GHF launched operations, there has been a sharp rise in Hamas aggression targeting aid recipients, NGO volunteers, and those who dare to speak out. Numerous videos have surfaced showing Hamas militants firing live rounds at civilians trying to reach GHF-run distribution points. Others document executions of locals suspected of assisting the organization.

Adding to the wave of fear is the chilling news that Palestinian journalist Omar Abd Rabu has been marked for assassination by Hamas for merely posting criticism of Hamas leaders Yahya and Mohammed Sinwar. According to sources, the terror group issued a kill order on Abd Rabu — a stark reminder that freedom of speech in Gaza is punishable by death.

Aiding the Enemy: Red Cross and Media Complicit?

While Hamas openly threatens and executes its own people, some international organizations are compounding the damage. The International Red Cross, shockingly, continues to echo Hamas’s disinformation campaigns — relying on "reports" from Mahmoud Bassal, a so-called spokesman for Gaza’s Civil Defense who has now been exposed as a Hamas operative.

Last week, the GHF released CCTV footage debunking Hamas and Red Cross claims of civilian casualties near an aid distribution site. The videos show no violence occurred, exposing the Red Cross and international media outlets for parroting a false narrative meant to undermine humanitarian efforts and paint Israel as the aggressor.

IDF Expands Operations As Hamas Scrambles

Meanwhile, the Israeli military is tightening its grip on key Hamas strongholds. IDF forces are advancing deeper into Jabalia and Khan Yunis, pushing into areas previously untouched and uncovering more evidence of Hamas’s underground terror infrastructure and civilian exploitation.

The timing of the IDF’s expanded operations and Hamas’s internal crackdowns is no coincidence. As the group loses control over the narrative and the population, it resorts to violence — not against Israel, but against its own people.

What This Means

The public execution, the targeting of journalists, and the disinformation war against humanitarian aid all point to a single, irrefutable truth: Hamas rules Gaza not with governance, but with the barrel of a gun. Its grip on power is weakening, and its tactics have grown more desperate and depraved. But the world must wake up: every bullet Hamas fires at a Palestinian seeking aid is an indictment of its rule.
