Thursday’s operation capped off a weeklong campaign of escalating IDF strikes against Hezbollah infrastructure:

• Monday night: Israeli fighter jets leveled a Hezbollah headquarters in the Nabatieh district of Southern Lebanon.

• Earlier Monday: A Hezbollah operative was neutralized in the village of Yater, less than two miles from Israel’s northern border.

• Sunday: The IDF eliminated Muhammad Ali Yassin, a key Hezbollah engineer involved in weapons development and production, whose efforts to rebuild Hezbollah’s shattered arsenal were cut short by an Israeli strike in Nabatieh.

Lebanon in Crisis
