Congress Moves to Arm Israel with B-2 Bombers and Bunker Busters to Crush Iran’s Nuclear Ambitions.
In a bold bipartisan move that underscores America’s unwavering support for Israel, lawmakers have introduced a bill that would authorize President Donald Trump to send B-2 stealth bombers and bunker-buster bombs to Israel should Iran continue its nuclear ambitions.
According to Fox News, the measure, spearheaded by Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), would empower Trump to “take decisive action to ensure Israel is prepared for all contingencies” if Iran dares to advance its nuclear weapons program.

“Iran, the world’s top state sponsor of terror, can never possess a nuclear weapon. I strongly supported our military actions earlier this month, and I will continue to stand by Israel, our key democratic ally in the region, to ensure Iran’s nuclear ambitions are permanently dismantled,” Rep. Gottheimer declared.
“This bill gives the president the authority to equip Israel with the tools, weapons, and advanced training necessary to deter Tehran and keep the world safer from Iranian aggression,” Rep. Lawler added.
A law proposal put forward last year would make it possible for the USA to transfer B-2 stealth bombers & bunker-busting bombs to Israel if Iran resumes its nuclear program.

The Trump Doctrine: Preemptive Strikes to Neutralize Iranian Threats
The bill requires President Trump to justify to Congress that such a move is vital to America’s national security and to certify that Israel has no other means to destroy Iran’s deeply buried nuclear infrastructure.
This legislative push comes in the wake of Operation Midnight Hammer, the secret U.S.-Israeli mission in which Trump ordered devastating B-2 stealth bomber strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities using bunker busters, effectively leveling critical infrastructure that Iran spent decades and billions to hide underground.
Trump declared after the operation that Iran’s nuclear facilities were “obliterated.”
Two U.S. House Representatives, Reps. Josh Gottheimer, (D-N.J.) and Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.), have introduced a bi-partisan bill to Congress, dubbed the Bunker Buster Act, that would allow U.S. President Donald J. Trump to “take actions to ensure Israel is prepared for all… pic.twitter.com/GBpGJXVnmw

Divided Reactions on Capitol Hill
As the dust settled over Iran’s smoldering nuclear sites, Congress erupted in fierce debate over Trump’s bold decision:
-
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) called the strikes “an escalation that risks counterattacks, endangers American personnel across the Middle East, and complicates negotiations with Iran.”
-
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) took to social media, asserting, “The American people aren’t interested in foreign wars,” while praying for peace.
-
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) countered, “I stand firmly behind Israel’s right to defend itself. If Israel’s strikes set back Iran’s nuclear program, we’ll all be safer.”
-
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson doubled down, declaring, “Israel IS right — and has a right — to defend itself!”

Why This Matters
Iran has long funneled billions into terror proxies across the region while simultaneously enriching uranium in defiance of the international community, all while chanting for Israel’s destruction. The Islamic Republic has murdered Americans, attacked global shipping lanes, and funded terror groups on Israel’s borders.
The Trump-backed strikes and the proposed legislation mark a new era of zero tolerance for Iran’s nuclear deception, sending an unmistakable message:
Israel will not stand alone, and the United States will not allow Iran to threaten the Jewish state or regional stability with nuclear blackmail.
What Comes Next?
If Iran attempts to rebuild its nuclear program, the bill’s passage would pave the way for Israel to receive the world’s most advanced stealth bombers and munitions, enabling it to finish what Operation Midnight Hammer started. It also signals to Tehran that its underground bunkers will not protect its nuclear ambitions from Israel’s reach.
As the Middle East braces for the next move in this high-stakes standoff, one thing is clear: the U.S.-Israel alliance is prepared to confront Iran’s nuclear threat with overwhelming force if necessary.
