German Authorities Thwart Major Hamas Terror Cell Plotting Mass Attacks on Jewish Targets Across Europe. Weapons Cache Seized; Suspects Linked to Hamas’ Trans-European Terror Network
In a chilling reminder of how far Hamas’ terror tentacles reach beyond the Middle East, German authorities have arrested yet another suspected operative connected to a trans-European Hamas terror cell allegedly plotting coordinated attacks on Jewish and Israeli targets in Europe.
The arrest, the latest in a string of counter-terror breakthroughs, came late Tuesday night, when German border police detained a Lebanon-born man identified as Borhan El-K. as he attempted to enter Germany from the Czech Republic.
According to the German Federal Prosecutor’s Office, El-K. was no petty smuggler. Investigators allege that as early as August, he had procured an automatic rifle, eight Glock pistols, and more than 600 rounds of live ammunition, transferring the arsenal to another Hamas operative, Wael F., in Berlin.
Wael F., who was arrested in October along with two other suspects, Adeb Al-G. and Ahmad I., was allegedly preparing for what German prosecutors described as “a serious act of violence endangering the state.” The weapons, authorities said, were intended for assassination operations on Israeli or Jewish institutions in Germany, including potential targets in Berlin and Hamburg.

Europe-Wide Investigation Exposes Cross-Border Hamas Operations
This latest arrest was not an isolated case. Danish police simultaneously conducted raids in Copenhagen and its suburbs, searching multiple addresses linked to El-K. and another suspect, while British police in London detained Mohammed A. on November 3 at the request of German authorities.
Mohammed A. is accused of trafficking handguns and ammunition from Germany to Vienna, where the weapons were reportedly stored for future operations. Intelligence officials now suspect the group was part of a larger Hamas logistical network, tasked with arming sleeper cells throughout Europe to strike Jewish targets, particularly synagogues and community centers, as part of an orchestrated wave of terror designed to intimidate diaspora Jews and Israeli missions abroad.

Timing Meant to Terrorize: Arrests Coincided with Yom Kippur
German intelligence sources disclosed that the first wave of arrests, on October 1, just one day before Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar, likely prevented a catastrophic series of attacks. A senior law enforcement official stated that the suspects had been “gathering supplies and coordinating movements since the summer.”
The federal prosecutor’s office later confirmed that the weapons were seized during a handover meeting, believed to be the final stage of the group’s preparations.
Hamas Denials Ring Hollow
Predictably, Hamas issued a blanket denial through its media wing, dismissing the allegations as “baseless.” Yet European intelligence agencies remain unconvinced. German, Danish, Austrian, and British investigators now believe that the cell’s logistical structure mirrors Hamas’ covert networks in Lebanon and Turkey, where European nationals of Arab descent are often recruited, trained, and armed for operations abroad.
So, please tell me how this government is keeping its citizens safe, when this man was walking freely on London streets? A 39 year old, arrested at the request of German police, the son of a member of Hamas Leadership, planning to bomb a mosque in Berlin!…

A Pattern of Escalation
This is not the first time Hamas operatives have plotted attacks on European soil. Earlier this year, four Hamas members went on trial in Berlin for allegedly planning assaults on Jewish and Israeli targets in multiple EU capitals. The pattern is now unmistakable — a coordinated Hamas effort to expand its war against Jews from the battlefields of Gaza to the streets of Europe.

Germany’s Stern Message
German authorities vowed to pursue every member of the network. “We will not allow Islamist terror to take root in Germany,” said one senior prosecutor. “Anyone conspiring to spill Jewish blood will face the full weight of the German state.”
El-K. appeared before a federal judge on Wednesday, facing charges of membership in a foreign terrorist organization, arms trafficking, and conspiracy to commit acts of terror.
Meanwhile, European intelligence officials are racing to uncover how deep Hamas’ network runs in the continent, and whether additional cells remain active.
