Terror in Jerusalem: Another Bloody Reminder Why a Palestinian State Is a Fantasy.

Jerusalem awoke to horror again this morning as Palestinian terrorists carried out a cold-blooded massacre at Ramot Junction, targeting innocent civilians on their way to work, school, or simply going about their day. The attack left at least five dead and ten others wounded — three of them fighting for their lives. This was not a battlefield clash; it was an ambush against bus passengers, against parents and children, against everyday people who dared to exist as Jews in their own capital.

The Attack

According to emergency responders, the terrorists boarded the crowded No. 62 bus and immediately opened fire. Panic spread as passengers dove for cover, while bullets shattered glass and tore through bodies. Medics arriving on the scene described a vision of carnage: people lying unconscious on the asphalt, others bleeding by the roadside, and shattered glass carpeting the pavement like a macabre mosaic.

“When we arrived, we saw people lying unconscious on the road, on the side of the road, and on the sidewalk near the bus stop. There was a lot of destruction, glass shattered across the floor, and lots of commotion,” according to MDA paramedic Nadav Ta'ib, who was among the first responders and spoke to Galay Tzahal Radio.

Magen David Adom teams rushed to treat the wounded, while United Hatzalah volunteers joined in providing lifesaving aid. The swift work of these medics undoubtedly prevented a higher death toll.

The Terrorists and the Response

The two gunmen were “neutralized” by security forces. In the immediate aftermath, Israeli authorities shut down all entry and exit points in and out of Jerusalem, sealing the city as a massive manhunt began to determine if more terrorists were involved. This is no isolated incident; it is the direct continuation of the Palestinian terror campaign against Israel’s capital.

The Bigger Picture: Why This Keeps Happening

This massacre is yet another example — as if more proof were needed — of why the Palestinians are not deserving, nor remotely ready, for a state of their own. Every time the international community entertains the delusion of a “Palestinian state,” Israelis are reminded, in blood, what that state would look like: buses turned into death traps, sidewalks transformed into killing fields, and Jewish civilians forever living under the gun.

A future “Palestine” would not be a neighbor to Israel. It would be a terror base, a launching pad for daily massacres, a Hamas- or Fatah-run garrison state dedicated to finishing the job Hitler started. Today’s attack was not a cry for independence; it was a celebration of murder for murder’s sake.

A Call to Clarity

The Ramot Junction attack is not just a local tragedy — it is a wake-up call to the world. To those still pushing the tired, failed two-state mantra: look closely at the blood on Jerusalem’s streets. This is the reality of Palestinian governance, whether under Hamas in Gaza or the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah. There is no democracy, no coexistence, no readiness. There is only jihad.

And while Western politicians issue hollow condemnations, Israelis are left to bury their dead, comfort their wounded, and brace for the next round of carnage.
