Violent riots and terrorist activities have been taking place in East Jerusalem the past few days as the manhunt for the man who murdered 18-year-old Noa Lazar last week continues, and it seems to be escalating. In the Arab neighborhood of Beit Hanina, an attempted lynching was carried out on a Jewish family, including babies, thankfully they managed to escape in their car.

Israel, like many of its neighboring Mediterranean countries, has a fair amount of soccer fans, and with that comes the fanatics. In a recent game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv, the match was nearly canceled due to nonstop violence and rowdy behavior from both sides of the aisle.  What set it all off though is something out of a mafia movie where illegal betting rings tried to disrupt the game to allow something that many people had placed a bet on come to fruition.

In The Midst Of A Housing Crisis, Israel's Population Is Set To More Than Double

There is a major issue in Israel and for the first time, it is not security or politics. By 2050 the population of Israel will double if not more. There is data that indicates Israel will probably be the only country in the world that will triple its population during the 21st century. This is a new challenge of tremendous importance and the big question is whether the coming governments in Israel will do something to address it or whether they will continue with a business-as-usual attitude until it blows up in their face.

Israel Settles Wrongful Death Lawsuit Of 78 Year Old Palestinian

Israel will compensate the family of Omar As’ad, an 80-year-old Palestinian who died after being detained by IDF forces for a few hours in January of this year.

The Ministry of Defense stated that "it was agreed between the negotiating parties that the lawsuit submitted to the courts against the state of Israel will be dismissed.” At the same time, and in light of the special circumstances of the unfortunate event, it was agreed by the court that the family of As'ad will be compensated with 500,000 NIS due to the unfortunate event.

Terror Attack In Jerusalem Takes The Life Of 18-Year Old Hero

An 18-year-old female IDF soldier, Noa Lazar, was killed Saturday night in a terrorist attack on a border checkpoint near the Shuafat refugee camp'. Lazar served as a corporal in the Military Police and specialized in border patrol as part of the Erez Battalion, she was promoted to the rank of sergeant posthumously.
