Amid the ongoing security tensions in Israel and after ongoing protests by Jewish and Arab residents of the city of Lod, the commander of the municipal station Shashi Shlomo informed the residents that reinforced troops will arrive in the city in order to maintain order. This comes after a group of Arab boys bullied a Jewish child on Saturday night, forcing him to chant a common Islamic slogan typically associated with terrorist attacks in the West.

In an attempt to quell a backlash by members of his own party after it was revealed Israel agreed to suspend all activity in Judea and Samaria during the security summit in Aqaba, Jordan, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on his Twitter account" "Contrary to the tweets, construction, and regulation in Judea and Samaria will continue in accordance with the original planning and construction schedule, without any changes. There is and will not be any freeze."

After two Israeli brothers were murdered driving on highway 60 through the Palestinian town of Huwara, chaos descended on Samaria as Israeli extremists came to the town to exact their revenge. According to Palestinian authorities in Ramallah, several different attacks by Israelis in several Palestinian communities in Judea and Samaria have caused significant damage to homes and businesses. Earlier in the day, brothers Hillel (22) and Yigal (20) Yaniv from the Samarian community of Har Bracha were killed in a shooting attack as they were driving on a dual-use road just south of Nablus.

For the eighth week in a row, tens of thousands of Israelis took to the streets, this time it is estimated that at least a quarter of a million people took part in protests around the country against the proposed judicial reform. From the north down south to Eilat, it is estimated that at least 130,000 demonstrated in over two dozen cities. Meanwhile, the main demonstration on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv saw its largest crowd with estimates ranging from 120,000 on the low end to 180,000 on the high end. It did get disruptive towards the end of the Tel Aviv demonstration as some unruly participants blocked the Ayalon Highway, the major thoroughfare that spans from Jerusalem to just north of Tel Aviv, in both directions. After approximately one hour, all the roads were opened to vehicle traffic.

In the shadow of warnings that the Israeli judicial reform will harm the economy, the government met for an exhausting overnight session between Thursday and Friday to try and approve the 2023-2024 state budget. Many ministers are not ready to compromise on lower budgets for their ministry, while Bank of Israel Governor Professor Amir Yaron warned that a fiscally responsible policy must be maintained. "Look what happened in Britain," he told ministers, recalling the downfall of Prime Minister Liz Truss shortly after she crashed the pound with an irresponsible economic plan.
