Amid the ongoing security tensions in Israel and after ongoing protests by Jewish and Arab residents of the city of Lod, the commander of the municipal station Shashi Shlomo informed the residents that reinforced troops will arrive in the city in order to maintain order. This comes after a group of Arab boys bullied a Jewish child on Saturday night, forcing him to chant a common Islamic slogan typically associated with terrorist attacks in the West.
