The Minister of the Interior and the chairman of the “Habayit Hayehudi” party, Ayelet Shaked, addressed the alternate Prime Minister Naftali Bennett Saturday evening and demanded that he transfer to her the right of veto that he has in the government, in case he decides to end his position before the formation of the next government.

Ayelet Shaked was Bennet’s key to forming his controversial government that includes an Arab bloc party and she has received much criticism from her right-wing base for it.

Several officials from the Likud party spoke with Israeli reporters yesterday and said, without mincing their words, that former Prime Minister and current Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu is wrong for trying to get Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked to withdraw from the upcoming election.
