150 Of Israel's Top Attorneys Attend Conference In Support Of Judicial Reform

About 150 lawyers, including past and present senior members of the Israeli Bar Association, who deal with all areas of law, gathered Saturday night in the Givat Shmuel suburb of Tel Aviv for an event in support of the judicial reform. The conference, which included two panels that dealt with the reform of the justice system, was organized by the Movement for Governance and Democracy.

Israel Police Investigating Online Threats Against Netanyahu

Israeli Police officials said Sunday morning that Lt. Col. (res.) Zeev Raz, a staunch opponent of Netanyahu, was summoned for questioning on suspicion of incitement and threats, following a Facebook post in which he called for the killing of any Prime Minister “who will assume dictatorial powers,” in reference to Netanyahu.

Push To Legalize 7 Communities In Judea & Samaria In Memory Of 7 Dead

At the cabinet meeting Sunday afternoon, Israel’s Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir, demanded the immediate legalization of seven communities in Judea and Samaria and the regulation of essential infrastructures in the other communities. Ben Gvir’s efforts come in response to the murderous attack in Jerusalem and in memory of the seven murdered by a Palestinian terrorist on Friday night.

Major Israeli-Born Company Pulling Cash Out Of Country Over Judicial Reforms

Eynat Guez, the founder and CEO of Papaya Global, announced Thursday morning that she will take all of the company's financing out of Israel following Netanyahu's words Wednesday night at a press conference in which he insisted that his coalition's judicial reforms will continue. Guez chalked her decision up to economic "uncertainty" in the country in light of the legal reforms of the Justice Minister, Yariv Levin. The Israeli human resources and payroll software company is the first to announce such drastic steps.
