Transportation Minister and the Labor party leader Merav Michaeli is currently busy on two fronts, the first is of course the upcoming elections for the 25th Knesset. The second is Michaeli’s new responsibility after she chose to lead the annual rally in memory of former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, just a few days before the election. The Minister spoke of Rabin and politics in her latest interview aired on local Israeli radio.

Gantz Slams Netanyahu For Ignoring Israel's Own Security Experts

Defense Minister Benny Gantz spoke at the Conference hosted by a number of Israeli news outlets. In his speech, Gantz emphasized the fight in recent years against the Iranian nuclear effort. In his short term, caretaker Prime Minister Yair Lapid has achieved a few milestones. Despite lacking the numbers in current polling, he is confident he can defeat Netanyahu in one way or another although, he is preparing an argument just in case he cannot, one that he seemingly took from the strategy book of Joe Biden as it relates to former President Donald Trump.

In his latest interview with the major Israeli newspaper “Yediot Ahronoth”,  just a week before the Israelis head to the polls, Lapid brought up many trending talking points, along with his concern that the opposition leader may call the elections illegitimate.

In an event that just might be the beginning of the end of his political career, Prime Minister Yair Lapid promised the Arab community that Israel will protect the Muslims' right to be the sole group allowed to pray on the Temple Mount while panning the law which defines Israel as a Jewish country and puts protections in place to ensure it continues to be.

Lapid was addressing the Israeli-Arab public Tuesday night through multiple interviews by the Arab language Pant and Hella media outlets in an attempt to shift votes within the Arab community.
