Is Netanyahu too focused on the bling of social media and television ads that highlight him while neglecting the local campaign that has been the core of Likud campaigns for decades? Many in the party believe that and is beginning to cause cracks in the once-unified party. 

Amid the ongoing campaigning and preparations of the Likud party for the elections, a group of local Likud branch personnel demanded Monday night that the Likud appoint Knesset member Israel Katz to manage the election headquarters. This major shift in favorability comes just after the activists complained about the mismanagement and the neglect of the local Likud branches that are spread all throughout Israel.

The Minister of the Interior and the chairman of the “Habayit Hayehudi” party, Ayelet Shaked, addressed the alternate Prime Minister Naftali Bennett Saturday evening and demanded that he transfer to her the right of veto that he has in the government, in case he decides to end his position before the formation of the next government.

Ayelet Shaked was Bennet’s key to forming his controversial government that includes an Arab bloc party and she has received much criticism from her right-wing base for it.

Just after Benjamin Netanyahu was released from Shaare Tzedek Hospital after not feeling well during the Yom Kippur fast, a new election poll was released. The poll released by the Israeli newspaper "Maariv" indicates a sharp rise in polling for all right-wing parties, and for the first time since July Netanyahu again is reaching the 61 mandate threshold needed to create a coalition.

On Monday, the wife of former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Sara participated in a Likud campaign strategy session. The meeting was held in the party's headquarters located in Tel Aviv, and during the session, she demanded that the party go on the offensive, attacking the Minister of the Interior Ayelet Shaked personally, a request that is contrary to the position of the official Likud campaign and its advisors.
