Almost half a year after the Israel Defense Forces last operation against the Islamic Jihad in Gaza, it seems that in the meantime the quiet in the southern part of Israel has been relatively preserved. With the lack of Iranian funds as reported by The Judean, and new Qatari and Egyptian-funded housing projects being developed, Hamas and The Islamic Jihad have a lot to lose if they were to disrupt the current peace.
