A resident of East Jerusalem was arrested on suspicion of planning to assassinate the Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir during the month of Ramadan. According to the report, the suspect gathered intelligence on Ben Gvir and his movement and apparently planned to steal a police license plate and injure a person in the Temple Mount area.

Rabbi Yehuda Chaik, a resident of Katzrin in the Golan Heights, has been busy collecting signatures from among the members of the body that elects the chief rabbis, in preparation for the elections for these positions that will be held at the end of the Hebrew year. He has already collected quite a few signatures, although most of the work is still ahead of him.

A senior Palestinian delegation arrived in Jordan on Saturday to participate in the summit in the Southern Jordanian city of Aqaba that is taking place and includes representatives from Jordan, Egypt, Israel, and the United States, Palestine Liberation Organization member, Majed Faraj, head of Palestinian intelligence, Nabil Abu Rudina, spokesman for the presidency, as well as Majdi al-Khalidi, diplomatic adviser to the Palestinian president, are all part of the PA delegation.

Mass demonstrations broke out throughout the night in Judea and Samaria and in the Gaza Strip, and even in the refugee camps in Lebanon, following the Israel Defense Forces operation in Nablus in which 11 Palestinians were killed, most of them armed terrorists from the "Lion's Den" group. The large protests, attended by thousands, were held following the "Lion's Den" call for demonstrations in support and solidarity.
