Tens of thousands of demonstrators participated in a number of marches held Saturday evening in Tel Aviv in protest of Yariv Levin's legal plan, which among other things, includes major reforms in appointing Supreme Court justices. Although by the time the evening was over, the crowd was much thinner as it became apparent the protest was less about a legislative overreach and more about Palestinian rights.

On the heels of a Jordanian statement calling Itamar Ben Gvir's visit an international crime, a Gaza-based militant group launched a rocket towards Israel Tuesday evening. The rocket, however, did not cross the fence and fell within the Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the details and added that a red missile alert for the surrounding Israeli towns was not activated.

The union of professors of Israel’s public universities is set to declare a labor-management conflict amid Bezalel Smotrich’s newly assigned position as Israel’s Treasury Minister. The conflict will take effect in about 14 days, and is considered a premise for a full union strike if demands are not met. The universities involved include The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, The Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Be'er Sheva, Bar Ilan University, Haifa University, Tel Aviv University, the Technion, and the Weizmann Institute.
