Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and proud supporter of Zionism promised on Friday that the United States Senate would do all it can to give Israel its “fullest support” during a wreath-laying ceremony at Yad Vashem, Israel’s official Holocaust memorial site and museum.

A senior Palestinian delegation arrived in Jordan on Saturday to participate in the summit in the Southern Jordanian city of Aqaba that is taking place and includes representatives from Jordan, Egypt, Israel, and the United States, Palestine Liberation Organization member, Majed Faraj, head of Palestinian intelligence, Nabil Abu Rudina, spokesman for the presidency, as well as Majdi al-Khalidi, diplomatic adviser to the Palestinian president, are all part of the PA delegation.

Mass demonstrations broke out throughout the night in Judea and Samaria and in the Gaza Strip, and even in the refugee camps in Lebanon, following the Israel Defense Forces operation in Nablus in which 11 Palestinians were killed, most of them armed terrorists from the "Lion's Den" group. The large protests, attended by thousands, were held following the "Lion's Den" call for demonstrations in support and solidarity.

An Arab-Israeli resident of Lod, who worked on the renovation of a Jewish family's home in nearby Ramla, was arrested today on suspicion of setting fire to the laundromat owned by the family. According to the investigation material, the arson occurred after the suspect asked the owner of the laundromat to increase payment for a renovation project done in his house, and was declined.

Young people affiliated with Palestinian Militant groups in the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem blocked roads between Saturday and Sunday and burned tires so that residents of the area could not leave for work outside the area. The events follow yesterday's announcement of a comprehensive strike and civil unrest due to an increased presence of Israeli Police since the attack at the Shuafat checkpoint in which Sergeant Asil Su'ad was killed. Most residents did not plan on joining the militants' call for a strike, which prompted a few to prevent residents from leaving the area.
