Ceasefire Demands Expose the True Allies of Hamas: Why Only Total Victory Will Free Gaza.

For nearly a year, Western pundits, NGOs, and those blue-haired, progressively Queer “human rights” activists chanting “Globalize the Intifada” from Harvard Yard to downtown San Francisco have wailed for Israel to “end the war” against Hamas. With pre-printed “Ceasefire Now” signs that have hashtags like #StopTheGenocide on them and were suspiciously ready within hours of October 7th, they insist peace is just one signature away—if only the Jewish state would stop fighting.

But what do they really want? Whether they admit it or not, they want to save Hamas from the consequences of its genocidal ambitions.

And the bitter irony is that most of these activists—whether it’s Cynthia Nixon and her perpetually gender & religion confused offspring, Greta Thunberg’s climate clique turned genocide “experts,” or AOC using her platform to parrot Hamas talking points—have no idea what is actually happening in Gaza. There is no genocide, and there has never been genocide. Many do not even believe October 7th happened, or if they acknowledge it, they frame it as “resistance” against a so-called occupation, ignorant of the fact that Israel left Gaza entirely in 2005 and the only ones occupying Gaza since then have been an Islamist terror group.

They don’t know—or refuse to acknowledge—that Hamas has been the single greatest oppressor of the people of Gaza, using them as human shields, indoctrinating them with hate, and starving them of a future.

Israel’s War in Gaza Has Three Non-Negotiable Goals

Israel’s goals in Gaza are not mysterious, nor are they malicious. They are clear, moral, and aligned with any sane understanding of justice:

1️⃣ Bring home the remaining 20 live hostages, along with the bodies of those brutally murdered or held as bargaining chips by Hamas’s sadistic fanatics, knowing Israel will trade mountains for a single body.

2️⃣ Free over two million Gazans from the iron grip of Hamas, enabling a future where Palestinian children can grow up without being groomed for martyrdom.

3️⃣ Ensure Hamas can never again pose a strategic threat to Israel.

Those clamoring for a ceasefire demand Israel abandon at least one of these goals. You cannot end the war prematurely and achieve all three.

Here’s the inconvenient truth: Israel has already achieved the third goal.

Hamas is no longer a strategic threat to Israel. The terror group is confined to shattered urban pockets, boxed in by IDF buffer zones, and under relentless Israeli surveillance. Even a minimal IDF presence, backed by drones and advanced intelligence, is enough to ensure Hamas can never again rearm, rebuild cross-border tunnels, or launch rockets into Israeli cities.

Hamas’s only remaining threat is to the people of Gaza themselves.

And this is the tragedy of the ceasefire cult. Their protests, their hashtags, their campus encampments do not free Palestinians—they condemn them to further suffering under the boots of Hamas.

The Temptation of a Deal

From a cynical but realistic Israeli perspective, there is a temptation to consider a deal: end the hostage nightmare in exchange for allowing Hamas to remain as a neutered regime, ruling over the rubble they created.

It’s true: Israel won’t get the clean photo-op of “total victory” with Hamas leaders in shackles (or, more likely, buried under the ruins of their terror tunnels), with Gaza under a new, post-Hamas administration.

But here’s what “total victory” would require: total responsibility. Israel would inherit Gaza’s daily governance, humanitarian crises, and rebuilding while Hamas remnants hide among civilians, waiting for their moment to strike. Unless Arab nations like the UAE and Egypt—countries that have banned Hamas’s ideological parent, the Muslim Brotherhood—step in to manage the transition and de-radicalize Gaza, Israel would be alone in a quagmire. And even if these Arab nations did step in, it is Israel most likely who will be responsible for ensuring their security as well.

Is it worth it?

For many Israelis, reducing Hamas from a terror empire to a toothless, cash-strapped mafia may be enough. But that leaves two million Gazans under the yoke of Hamas, unable to rebuild, unable to breathe, unable to look to a future without war.

The Moral Bankruptcy of the Ceasefire Choir

The “ceasefire now” crowd has been out in Times Square, outside Israeli embassies, and on college campuses since day one of Hamas’s October 7th massacre, as if they were prepared in advance to blame Israel for Hamas’s atrocities.

These rallies are often organized and funded by groups with ties to Hamas, many even directly coordinated their efforts with the terror group as uncovered in documents found in Hamas offices in Gaza. They are not fighting for the Palestinians; they are fighting for Hamas’s survival.

Their calls for “peace” are not about protecting innocent lives but about shielding Hamas from justice. If they possessed a shred of humanity or even basic logic, they would recognize that the only path to peace, stability, and dignity for Palestinians in Gaza is the complete removal of Hamas.

Instead, they demand a ceasefire that leaves Hamas intact, enabling it to continue its reign of terror while its leaders embezzle aid money and plot the next massacre.

The Only Path Forward: Finish the Job

A ceasefire that saves Hamas guarantees future wars.

A ceasefire that leaves Hamas in power is not a step toward peace but a recipe for endless conflict, misery, and instability.

Israel now faces a choice:

  • Settle for a Hamas reduced to irrelevance, never able to harm Israelis again, while it continues to oppress Palestinians in Gaza; or

  • Push for total victory, remove Hamas entirely, and free Gazans from their terrorist overlords.

Those who genuinely care about peace—and about Palestinian lives—should stop shielding Hamas and start demanding its removal. Anything less is a betrayal of both Palestinians and Israelis.

If the international community truly wants Gaza rebuilt and dreams of peace between Israelis and Palestinians, it must support Israel in finishing the job.

Because it is the only way forward.
