Gaza Could Have Been The Jewel Of The Mediterranean, So What Happened?

Gaza was arguably the prettiest part of Israel before 2005. The Mediterranean sea is met by gorgeous yellow sands and year-round decent weather, not many places exist like it on earth. As the meeting point between the Sinai desert and the Gush Dan region of Israel, it would have made the perfect destination for Europeans in need of a break from the bitter cold.

Israeli residents prior to September of 2005 did an amazing job of cultivating the land and creating gorgeous green farming lands on top of sands that were thought to not be capable of any growth. Today, 17 years after Israel unilaterally vacated the strip in an effort to bring peace, and 16 years into Hamas’s bloody coup against the Palestinian Authority, even fierce Palestinian activists could not argue that the former land of the ancient sea-faring Philistines is still magical. So what happened to Gaza?

I was in Gaza before and after Jews were thrown out of their homes. Before was like the garden of eden, after... Just 2 days after, it was full of filth, flies, and terrible smells. It was a mess. Now #Hamas moved in.

Israel along with pro-Zionist activists are facing a bigger threat than any weapon ever pointed toward them. This enemy is so powerful because, unlike an ordinary bullet, it has the power to make or break the entire Jewish state with nothing else but words. I am speaking of course about the media, and not of the BBC headlines or Fox News ones that simply slant the narrative in either direction, but about actual Israel-Palestine news outlets and 'Jewish-led' organizations funded in part, by people such as George Soros.

The ongoing civil unrest in Iran is perhaps, without exaggeration, the most significant development in the country since the Ayatollah’s takeover of the Persian people in 1979. At the very least according to the BBC, it is the “biggest challenge to his [Ayatollah Ali Khamenei] rule in a decade”. The Ayatollah announced Israeli and American involvement in the unrest, claiming that “insecurity was engineered by America and the occupying, false Zionist regime."

Ukraine, along with some Western nations, has been seeking Israel’s help in defeating the Russians in the seemingly endless war taking place. Israel has been sending help in the form of humanitarian aid and increasing its annual refugee capacity to accommodate the hundreds of thousands of Slavic peoples running away from the horrors of war but until today, has refused to supply weapons to the former Soviet State.

The long and complex relations between Jews and Muslims could take a lifetime to fully comprehend on a deep level. It is one that goes back to the time Abraham dwelled in the land of Canaan, and continues into modern times with Jewish advisors to the king of Morocco, leading to military actions by Arab states against the newly born Zionist state.

About Us

The Judean is a digital media platform committed to exposing the truth about Israel and confronting the global wave of anti-Zionist disinformation. Through powerful editorials, featured articles, and historical investigations, we bring clarity to Israel’s story — its ancient Jewish roots, modern democratic values, and ongoing struggle for truth in the media battlefield. At a time when propaganda threatens to rewrite history and vilify Jewish self-determination, The Judean stands as a proud voice of resistance. We exist not to appease, but to assert: Israel is the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people — and that truth is non-negotiable.
