The barrier between Israel and Palestine has been called many things, few actually good, but the fact is the idea for it was created out of good faith between the two leaders who came together to try and make peace. While the Israeli leader lost his life trying to make the peace, the intention was to build the wall along the 1967 borders so the lines were clearly demarcated, but Arafat's suicide bombers and indiscriminate shooters changed the nature of what it was to be.

One political issue in which Israel is receiving a lot of focus in recent weeks, due mostly to the new right-wing government that several openly homophobic individuals are a part of, is LGBTQ rights. In the 21st century, one cannot avoid socially conservative commentary that doesn’t include LGBTQ rights and policies, and for good reason since by definition, it prefers traditional values over progressive expansions of social norms. That being said, conservatism is just as relative as progressivism is, and compared to Israel’s Palestinian counterparts, conservative policy on queer rights would be a huge leap toward modern progressive values.

The recent rise in “Anti-Zionist” activity on campuses all throughout North America and Europe has raised the alarm for many Jews both in Israel and the Diaspora. The message is clear if you are a Jewish student be prepared for demonstrations against you, regardless of your personal opinion on Israel. This new reality for Jewish students has created an interesting double standard when combining it with other antisemitic rhetorics and practices; ‘We will collectively punish you as a united people, but forbid you from claiming nationalism.’

According to the latest report, the Benjamin Netanyahu-led coalition is to be sworn in this coming Thursday. After months of talks between the Likud and other right-wing parties like Otzma Yehudit and Shas, 'Bibi' is on his way to govern what many say will be his last Knesset gathering. Bibi alone in his own right is a controversial figure, albeit popular with the Israeli public, but this coming government is receiving worldwide scrutiny from both allies and foes of the Jewish state.

Like all living beings on Earth, the days are numbered for Mahmoud Abbas, known in the Arab world as Abu Mazen. His semi-tyrannical grip on Palestinian politics and the Palestinian Authority since Yasser Arafat’s passing has been taken for granted by the Israeli government which sees him as a fair negotiating partner, in comparison to other, largely terrorist, leaders. However, according to many Palestinian and Israeli public opinions, his rule marked a period of great corruption in the PA-controlled territories. His advanced age and reported deteriorating health expose mixed feelings for all affected by him who on one hand are appalled by his corruption, but on the other fear what’s next; and for good reason.

About Us

The Judean is a digital media platform committed to exposing the truth about Israel and confronting the global wave of anti-Zionist disinformation. Through powerful editorials, featured articles, and historical investigations, we bring clarity to Israel’s story — its ancient Jewish roots, modern democratic values, and ongoing struggle for truth in the media battlefield. At a time when propaganda threatens to rewrite history and vilify Jewish self-determination, The Judean stands as a proud voice of resistance. We exist not to appease, but to assert: Israel is the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people — and that truth is non-negotiable.
