With so much disinformation about Israel being spread by a highly organized group determined to rewrite historical facts, it is imperative to combat it with the truth. To that end, the history section was compiled using historical texts, archived newspaper articles, images, and journal entries. The truth about the land of Israel, the land that some refer to as Palestine is well documented. Israel is the national homeland of the Jewish people. It is the only Jewish country in the world. For two millennia Jews prayed for the land, celebrated holidays that revolved around the agricultural cycle of the land, and mourned the loss of it, hoping to recapture it once more.
