Nabil Abu Rudeineh, the official spokesman of the Palestinian presidency, condemned the continuation of the Israel Defense Forces' "invasions" of Palestinian cities in Judea and Samaria, and the "daily crimes of killing against our people, the last of which was the death of three martyrs in the old city of Nablus".

Abu Rudeineh's statement refers to the joint action of the Shin Bet and the IDF Thursday morning, in which the Hamas terrorists who murdered Lucy, Maia, and Rina Dee, were killed. Abu Mazen's spokesman warned that "the continued Israeli escalation against our people, country, and holy places will explode the situation in the region and bring it to a stage where it will be difficult to maintain control."

Rudeineh neglected to mention how the Palestinian Police are not welcome in areas like Jenin and Nablus. On Tuesday night, militants parading through Jenin over the death of Khader Adnan in an Israeli prison chased the PA police away and shot up their headquarters.

He placed full responsibility on the "Israeli occupation government" for the "policy of escalation that will lead to more violence and tensions", and called on the American government to intervene immediately and pressure Israel to stop the "aggression", and no longer be satisfied with condemnation. The official news agency of the Palestinian Authority reported the killing of the murderers of the Dee family as follows: “Today, Thursday, three civilians were killed, and four others were wounded, by Israeli occupation forces after they invaded the old city of the city of Nablus. The Coordination Committee of the Organizations in the Nablus District announced a general strike in the district for the lives of the three martyrs."

Meanwhile, the husband of Lucy and father of Maia and Rina, Leo Dee, said after the news of the operation in Nablus that he is happy and relieved no innocent civilians were harmed in the operation.

An Israeli senior military official at the IDF’s Central Command commented on the operation in Nablus and said that "The hunt was completed after the intelligence and operational conditions had matured. The IDF and Shin Bet forces acted in a ruse on the target itself. We used additional measures with the exchange of fire alongside disturbances in the area. It is important to thwart these terrorists quickly so as not to inspire more attacks."

The IDF official added "We are in a challenging period with shooting incidents throughout the last two weeks. We are in a unique situation in Judea and Samaria mainly in the city of Nablus, and therefore this sector is still being reinforced with additional battalions." In addition, he clarified for would-be terrorists, and in a message to the terror group leaders: "There are no "safe homes" in Judea and Samaria, not in Jenin nor Nablus."
