Israeli forces arrest several Palestinians near Hebron (Telegram video clip)

On Sunday, the Israeli military apprehended at least 15 individuals in Judea and Samaria, including a minor and former prisoners, as reported by the Anadolu Agency, known for its pro-Palestinian stance.

Authorities, including the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority alongside the Palestinian Prisoners Society, announced that these arrests have increased the total count of Palestinians detained since October 7, 2023, to 8,100. This action is part of Israel's rigorous efforts to dismantle terror factions following Hamas's aggressive actions at the Gaza border.

Significant arrest operations were carried out in key cities such as Hebron, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Ramallah, and Jenin, which are recognized for their terror activities within Judea and Samaria.

The region has experienced heightened tensions since Israel initiated a decisive military response in the Gaza Strip after Hamas's attack on October 7, 2023. Since that date, confrontations have resulted in the death of at least 459 Palestinians from the West Bank and injuries to over 4,750.

At the International Court of Justice, Israel was charged with allegations of genocide, instigated by Palestinian complaints concerning the strict countermeasures in Gaza. Although the court concluded that Israel is not committing genocide, it urged the nation to prevent any genocidal actions and ensure the provision of humanitarian aid to Gaza's civilians. Despite Israel's efforts to deliver aid, reports indicate that Hamas operatives frequently intercept these supplies at the border, leading to the sale of humanitarian goods in Gaza markets, presumably to fund Hamas and Islamic Jihad operations.

Additionally, a day before these operations, police detained 11 Palestinian residents from Jenin found without valid Israeli residence permits, along with an Israeli driver, in the Megiddo Junction area, transferring them for further investigation.
