Iran erected a replica of the Dome of the Rock in the border town of Maroun al-Rous

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian toured the Lebanese side of the Israel-Lebanon border last Friday afternoon a few hours after he met with Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah. In a series of photos and videos that have been spreading on social media, Minister Abdollahian is seen receiving explanations while Overlooking the border area towards the State of Israel.

According to a report on the Lebanese news outlet "Al-manar", during his visit, Nasrallah and Abdollahian discussed "the latest developments in the region, and especially the issue of the Iranian-Saudi agreement and its effects on the countries of the region." It was also reported that they discussed "the latest developments in Lebanon and Israel."

The visit comes exactly two weeks after the speech of the Secretary General of the terrorist organization Hezbollah Nasrallah, which he delivered on Al-Quds Day organized by Iran, marked by it and its supporters in the region, including Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Shiite militias in Iraq.

"The Israeli entity announced mobilization on all fronts, organized itself with iron domes, and delivered threatening messages. It felt fear and anxiety, while the axis of resistance was calm," Nasrallah said at the beginning of his speech and added: "The division in Israel could have turned into a bloody war if not for the US intervention."

In his words, Nasrallah also referred to the internal Israeli situation against the background of the struggle for judicial reform: "There is a sharp decline in the fighting spirit and willingness to sacrifice for the country, the internal division in Israel regarding judicial reform is great. This is Netanyahu's war to eliminate one side that could lead to bloodshed. The division in Israel could become a bloody war."

Meanwhile, The Lebanese "Al-Akhbar" newspaper, which is affiliated with the Hezbollah organization, reported that during the Iranian Foreign Minister's visit to Beirut, information reached senior Lebanese officials, from the mouth of a Saudi official, that Riyadh was interested in "beginning a dialogue with the Hezbollah organization soon." According to the report, "the means of communication between the parties have been opened, or are about to be conducted through a third party." The report comes as part of a recent chain of diplomatic developments in the region, including the renewal of diplomatic relations between Tehran and Riyadh, the restoration of relations between Riyadh and Damascus, and the continuation of the Saudi Kingdom's actions to return Syria to the Arab League.
