After months of Israeli officials warning of Iran's steady drive to deliver new offensive weapons, the Islamic State has unveiled its hypersonic ballistic missile, calling it Fattah - which is the name of the ruling Palestinian party and in Arabic, means 'Conquering'. According to the official Iranian news agency IRNA, in an event attended by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and senior commanders of the Revolutionary Guards, the new missile was presented.
According to the report, the new missile has a range of 1,400 kilometers and a speed of Mach 13-15 (16052 KPH - 18522 KPH) The reports also claimed that the missile is capable of bypassing and destroying air defense systems. Meanwhile, according to the Iranian news agency FARS, the missile can "perform various maneuvers inside and outside the Earth's atmosphere."
This should focus the minds on the upcoming expiration of UNSCR 2231's restrictions on Iran's missile program in October--under five months from now. What's the U.S. and E3's strategy?https://t.co/daOYEAzYng

Just at the end of last month, Iran unveiled the fourth generation of the "Khormashhar" ballistic missile under the name "Khaybar," named for an Islamic story about a Jewish village named Khaybar that refused to accept Muhammad as the new prophet and was subsequently destroyed by a Muhammad-led army. It is a missile with a range of 2,000 km and a warhead weighing 1,500 kg. Among the prominent features of the missile in question is the guidance and control system during the flight. The use of this system and the guidance engines in the warhead result in controlling the missile and correcting the trajectory of the warhead outside the atmosphere. This feature leads to the missile being completely immune to cyber warfare attacks.

Meanwhile, as Iran continues to heavily arm itself with destructive weapons and attempts to develop a nuclear weapon, the country was elected to serve as the vice-president of the United Nations General Assembly, for a one-year term that will begin on September 5; the assembly has five vice-presidents. In addition, the General Assembly proving the pointlessness of their existence also appointed the Iranian representative as the rapporteur of the Committee on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation and as a member of the committee's board of directors.

The US representatives at the UN protested the two positions granted to Iran, calling them "absurd". "Given Iran's ongoing violations of Security Council Resolution 2231, including in connection with its ballistic missile program, its ongoing efforts to undermine international security, and its failure to fully cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the representative of the Iranian government is not qualified to hold a leadership position on the committee It is, even if such a role is largely ceremonial," said US Ambassador Robert Wood.

Wood also addressed Iran's nuclear activities, saying that it "has continued to expand its uranium enrichment activities, operate advanced centrifuges, and accumulate stockpiles of highly enriched uranium. The IAEA continues to report significant concerns regarding the possible presence of nuclear material in certain locations in Iran."
