Iranian Press as well as others are predicting Israel's Demise

The media in Lebanon, particularly outlets affiliated with Hezbollah, are actively highlighting what they perceive as the "disintegration of Israel." The newspaper Al-Akhbar and Al-Mayadeen TV channel, both linked to Hezbollah, are extensively covering the situation in Israel. Al-Akhbar's main headline reads "Israel - Tribal War," and Al-Mayadeen is closely monitoring Israeli media reports, disseminating them through their online and broadcast channels.

Among the reports cited by Al-Mayadeen, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert claimed that Israel is heading towards a civil war. Additionally, a report from "Channel 12 News" in Israel was quoted, in which the Chief of Staff allegedly suggested a loss of competence in the IDF, although the IDF spokesman denied this claim. The channel also covered Israeli media reports about thousands of reservists refusing to report for duty, and statements from former military, Mossad, and Shin Bet heads expressing support for the protest movement.

During a discussion in preparation for the vote on the cancellation of the "Reasonableness Clause," MK Ahmed Tibi was hosted virtually and urged to convey to the viewers that the IDF protest movement transcends various ranks of the army. Tahsin al-Halabi, a commentator on Israel affairs from Damascus, discussed the usage of the IDF in Israel's internal debate. He suggested that opposition parties are utilizing the army to advance their own agendas, which poses a risk not only to the Netanyahu government but also concerns the US government.

According to al-Halabi, the situation in Israel extends beyond opposition to judicial reform. He views it as a clear statement from one segment of Israeli society, indicating its unwillingness to die to protect settlements. The ongoing demonstrations and protests have deepened political divisions, leading to significant changes in Israel's political landscape.

Palestinian journalist Anas Abu-Arakob, appearing on the program "Look at the Enemy" on the Al-Manar network, emphasized that Netanyahu's leadership has restored the Israeli opposition. He highlighted the crossing of a critical point of no return, with internal discourse failing and the situation in Israel becoming extremely serious militarily. The refusal of pilots and intelligence officers to participate in what they perceive as a dictatorial army has weakened the occupation forces, leaving Israel more vulnerable than ever before.

Overall, the coverage in Lebanese media reflects a focus on the internal challenges and divisions faced by Israel, with a particular emphasis on the impact of the judicial reform and its broader implications for Israeli society and its military.
