In the midst of the ongoing conflict in Israel, where the seventh day of war has begun, the situation remains highly volatile. Gaza has faced a barrage of over 6000 Israeli missiles, while tensions continue to simmer along the Israel-Lebanon border. In this complex scenario, the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has been conducting targeted operations in the Gaza Strip, aiming at military installations and infrastructure used by Hamas, the Palestinian militant group. Hamas has been encouraging civilian populations to stay put amid IDF instructions to evacuate.

The IDF spokesperson revealed that fighter jets had carried out strikes on approximately 750 military targets across Gaza between Thursday and Friday. These targets included Hamas underground tunnels, military compounds, outposts, senior officials' residences serving as military headquarters, IDF warehouses, and communication facilities. Of notable mention, 12 high-rise buildings that housed Hamas military infrastructure were simultaneously struck within a single minute, showcasing the precision of the operation.

As part of their efforts to protect civilian lives, the IDF has urged residents of Gaza City to evacuate their homes and head south, settling in the area beyond the Gaza River. Brigadier General Daniel Hagari, an IDF spokesperson, emphasized the necessity of this evacuation due to the ongoing hostilities initiated by Hamas. He stressed, "The terrorist organization Hamas started a war against the State of Israel, Gaza City is an area where military activity takes place. This evacuation is for the personal safety of the residents of the Gaza Strip." Residents are advised to await official notification before returning to Gaza City and are cautioned against approaching the border area with Israel.

However, the government communications office in Gaza has dismissed the IDF's evacuation warning as "false propaganda and psychological warfare," calling on Gazans to disregard it. Simultaneously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara has issued a warning to Turkish citizens in Lebanon, advising them to avoid the southern part of the country due to the ongoing conflict between Israeli and Palestinian forces. This advisory raises concerns about the possibility of future ground engagements on Lebanese soil.

Amid these military developments, Israel is preparing for what appears to be a large-scale offensive. International leaders have not remained silent, expressing their support for Israel and even dispatching officials to the Jewish State. German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, prior to her visit to Israel, unequivocally stood by Israel's side. She condemned the acts of terrorism committed by Hamas, emphasizing that nothing could justify them. Baerbock stressed the need to prevent further destabilization in the region, asserting that "Hamas only brings suffering and death to Israel and to Gaza."
