The undeniable reality is that the true perpetrators of war crimes are the militant groups Hamas and Hezbollah, which relentlessly target civilians in their vicious campaigns. The facts are stark and irrefutable:
According to a report by the Israel Defense Forces, since the heinous attacks on October 7, a staggering 19,000 unguided rockets have bombarded Israel from multiple fronts. This violent barrage is primarily orchestrated by Iranian proxies Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) from the Gaza Strip, while Hezbollah, backed by Iran, has significantly escalated rocket attacks from Lebanon.

To add to this unrelenting assault, Hezbollah has fired scores of guided anti-tank missiles at Israel, sparking devastating wildfires in northern Israel. Meanwhile, Israel’s state-of-the-art Iron Dome aerial defense system has heroically intercepted tens of thousands of rockets, mortars, and drones since 2011, saving countless lives.
Recent Israeli military data highlights that over 150 drones have been neutralized by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) using the Iron Dome. Yet, the threat remains as Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed terrorists persist in launching explosive-laden drones into Israel, creating a daily nightmare for its citizens.

Hezbollah's drone attacks are particularly insidious, often evading detection until the last moment. Just last week, a Hezbollah drone tragically killed an IDF soldier and wounded ten others, underscoring the brazen nature of these assaults on Israel’s northern border communities.
The audacity of these attacks is staggering. In a notable instance, a drone penetrated 24 miles into Israeli territory, reaching the Jezreel Valley near Nazareth—marking the deepest incursion since the skirmishes began. On April 14, the situation escalated further when the Islamic Republic of Iran launched a direct attack on Israel, firing over 120 surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, 170 drones, and 30 cruise missiles. Thanks to the vigilant efforts of the IAF and allied forces from the United States, Jordan, the United Kingdom, and France, many of these threats were detected and neutralized before they could cause significant harm.
The IAF's assessment warns that in a full-scale war, Hezbollah would aim to dismantle Israel’s air defenses by launching swarms of drones, posing an unprecedented challenge to Israeli military capabilities.
