In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a brutal terrorist attack in the Hebron area left one Israeli man seriously wounded, prompting swift and decisive action from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Magen David Adom (MDA). The attack occurred on the road between Kiryat Arba and Beit Einun, where an armed terrorist unleashed a hail of gunfire upon an Israeli vehicle before viciously stabbing the driver.
Initial reports reveal that the terrorist, armed with a handgun, ambushed the Israeli vehicle, firing multiple shots. The assailant then proceeded to assault the driver, inflicting severe stab wounds to his hand and head. The IDF, renowned for its rapid response capabilities, immediately initiated a pursuit of the fleeing terrorist, concurrently setting up roadblocks to prevent any possible escape routes.

"The soldiers chased after the terrorist who fled the scene and simultaneously blocked routes in the area," the IDF reported. The terrorist, having arrived at the bypass route in the Yehuda Brigade area, continued his rampage by opening fire on another Israeli civilian. Not content with the carnage already wrought, the terrorist exited his vehicle and launched a frenzied knife attack on the civilian.
Despite the chaos, IDF soldiers on the scene provided critical first aid to the wounded man, who was then swiftly evacuated by Magen David Adom to a nearby hospital. MDA EMT Eli Gertner and paramedics Yaira Vangush and Netanel Yamin, who arrived promptly, described a harrowing scene: "When we arrived on the scene, we saw an Israeli car and nearby a conscious 50-year-old man, with stab wounds on his upper body, and two young women who were in the car with him, without injuries. We provided the injured lifesaving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital while he was conscious and in serious condition."
Shaare Zedek Hospital later updated the public, confirming that the injured man, initially reported in serious condition, had stabilized and was now in moderate condition.
