The United States has deployed drones over Gaza to gather intelligence and assist in locating individuals held by Hamas. This announcement was made by two American officials. According to Pentagon sources, these American UAVs have been in operation in the Gaza Strip since October 8, following the commencement of the war.

In a heart-wrenching incident that unfolded this Thursday morning, an Israeli citizen lost his life in a shooting attack near the Palestinian village of Beit Lied, situated on the road connecting the settlements of Shavei Shomron and Einav in Samaria. The Palestinian terrorists opened fire on the Israeli's vehicle, leading to a tragic overturning of the vehicle. In a recent operation, the Jerusalem District Police and the Shin Bet intelligence agency successfully thwarted a planned combined attack targeting security forces and uncovered an explosives laboratory concealed within an apartment located in the Shuafat refugee camp. The two terrorists involved in this plot were apprehended and are currently undergoing questioning at the Jerusalem District Court, with their detention extended by the Shin Bet. Following the conclusion of the ongoing investigation by the police and the Shin Bet, formal charges are expected to be filed against the suspects in the coming days.

In a significant development since the outbreak of the war in Gaza, foreign citizens and residents with foreign citizenship were granted permission to exit the Gaza Strip and enter Egypt through the Rafah crossing. Until now, this crossing had been exclusively used for the delivery of humanitarian aid. However, this morning, it was opened to facilitate the evacuation of dozens of injured Palestinians to medical facilities in Egypt, where a field hospital has been established near the crossing.
