The first medical cannabis company in Israel, Tikun Olam, which had been growing cannabis since the beginning of the 21st century, decided to reduce corporate losses and become a sort of marketing brand only, producing and marketing goods grown on third party farms, virtually shutting down all their plants and farms.

At the weekly cabinet meeting that took place Sunday afternoon in Jerusalem, the Minister of Heritage, Rabbi Amichai Eliyahu, mentioned the birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe who was born 121 years ago, in the Hebrew month of Nissan. In his acknowledgement of the day, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu instructed the Minister to work towards the establishment of a unique heritage center for Chabad Chassidim and its activities in honor of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

"Codex Sassoon", the oldest complete Bible written in Hebrew that has been preserved almost intact to this day, will be on display to the general public in Israel starting Thursday and for one week only at the “Anu Museum of the Jewish People” in Tel Aviv in advance of its expected sale during a Sotheby's auction in New York this coming May.
