Emilio Schenker raises Israeli Flag during Waters' 'The Wall' segment (Screen Capture)

Gilad Emilio Schenker, Director and Chief Executive Officer of the โ€œSimorโ€ company and film and television producer, was expelled from Roger Waters' performance in London this weekend, after waving the Israeli flag. Schenker spoke with Israeli journalists from the 103FM radio station and recounted the event.

"The event started a few months ago. We purchased tickets to fill equal performances, by the way, in principle I would usually not go to his concert because he is antisemitic. We purchased the tickets ten months ago and he branded the show in such a way that we thought he would sing Pink Floyd songs and shut up. There was a checkpoint in the entrance but I hid the flag. I have been to a lot of concerts in my life I have never seen booths in a concert hall that distribute some kind of political position one way or another, and here there were booths with the inscription โ€˜free Palestineโ€™", Emilio Schenker said.

"A person can take an anti-Israeli position, but you cannot allow Palestinian flags to be raised in the hall, and not only that, but to distribute โ€˜Free Palestineโ€™ leaflets in which the State of Israel is defamed with terrible lies, but when a person waves an Israeli flag, they remove him from the performance," he added.

"As soon as the show began, the 'Nazi' part of the show came up with his uniform that really resembles the uniform of the SS, a leather jacket, leather boots, and with a symbol that resembles the Nazi emblem and symbols and sings the song that is supposed to be anti-fascist but is actually anti-Israeli; I pulled out the flag and straight up, with such brutality, they threw me out of the show, twisted my arm and hurt me quite a bit. They didn't ask, they didn't approach politely and say 'Take down the flag.'"

โ€œOne can see it in the video - one man approached me, after that he brought seven other men with him, they took me to an interrogation room, they questioned me, they interrogated me, they did a physical search on me, they really did an interrogation that is not suitable for a democratic country like England, Great Britain; all for waving a flag at a show. They interrogated me for two and half hours and then kick me out.โ€

"In those moments I felt bad, I didn't plan for this to happen. I planned to wave the flag in front of him so that he would see it and within a minute put it back in the bag and move on with my life. I didn't plan the media saga or the whole investigation event. Did I feel good about it? No. But I felt kind of of a sense of pride that I stood up for myself.โ€
