The Deputy Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Ali Fadavi, made significant remarks today regarding the ongoing war in Gaza, accompanied by yet another threat aimed at Israel. Fadavi boldly asserted, "If necessary, we are fully prepared to launch missiles towards Haifa."
In a statement to Iranian media, Fadavi emphasized Iran's unwavering commitment to supporting the oppressed Palestinian nation. He stated, "Iran stands resolutely with the Palestinian people, defending their rights and aspirations. We publicly support all those who engage in resistance against Israel, as this aligns with the fundamental principles of the Islamic revolution."

Fadavi pointed out the distinctive nature of the current resistance compared to previous years. He noted that the unexpected intensity of Hamas's attack had taken the Israelis by surprise and "left them still reeling from the impact." Despite Israel's claims of readiness for a ground operation, Fadavi said "their actual response was relatively limited, and its results were apparent to the world," ignoring the fact that Israel is still at war with Hamas and prepared to invade the Gaza Strip. Fadavi also drew attention to Israel's internal challenges, citing a recent large-scale demonstration by families of the kidnapped and missing individuals in front of the President's residence.
Furthermore, Fadavi addressed recent threats emanating from the Houthis in Yemen. He stated, "Years ago, hostile forces targeted Yemen, but today, they are apprehensive about potential retaliatory actions from Yemen. Yemen now possesses a formidable arsenal of thousands of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which is seen as a realization of the Quranic ideals. The late Qasem Soleimani played a pivotal role in arming the resistance, ensuring they have access to rockets and UAVs. Israel remains unaware of the full extent of the weaponry at their disposal. While some speculate that Iran is the source of these arms, it's crucial to clarify that they are locally manufactured within Yemen."
Earlier this week, Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, engaged in diplomatic conversations with key Palestinian leaders, including Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Islamic Jihad leader Ziyad Al-Nakhalah. During these discussions, he reiterated Tehran's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and called for an immediate halt to what he referred to as "Zionist massacres." Amir-Abdollahian also emphasized the importance of reopening the Rafah crossing to alleviate the humanitarian situation.

In a separate development, intelligence sources reported an alleged attack on a Revolutionary Guards base in Tehran. The base in question is believed to be the "security headquarters of Greater Tehran." It's worth noting that no official confirmation of the attack has been provided by the Revolutionary Guards. The report initially surfaced on "Iran Efshagar," an Iranian opposition website dedicated to exposing individuals with connections to intelligence agencies and the clergy.
