The terrorist organization "Lone Wolves" linked to Hezbollah issued threatening publications on the various Arab news networks in which they vowed to kill the Israeli head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan. Following this, Dagan was once again declared a threatened personality of the highest rank, and security guards and Shin Bet personnel were attached to him.

The terrorist organization "Lone Wolves", which originates from the Palestinian refugee camps in Syria and is linked to the Hezbollah organization, issued threatening publications on the Arab networks in which they declare their desire to assassinate Yossi Dagan. This is not the first time Dagan has been threatened and put under higher security than most Israeli ministers.

Security has been beefed up around Samaria Regional Council chairman Yossi Dagan after a Palestinian terror group identifying as “Galilee Forces - the Lone Wolves” release this Hebrew video.

Just seven months ago, the Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, Fatah’s militant faction, published a poster with his photos from the scene of the protests after the attack in Hawara. In the photo they published, Dagan can be seen with a gun drawn while protecting children from terrorist shootings, and a drawing of a shooting target on his head. This joined earlier calls by Hamas and the Lions' Den to assassinate Dagan.

In response to the "Lone Wolves" publications, Dagan wrote on Facebook: "The security forces informed me at the end of the week that the terrorist organization ‘The Lone Wolves' linked to Hezbollah published threats and a video calling to kill me.

The threats were apparently published following the words of the obituary I delivered at the funeral of our dear friend from Harmesh, Meir Tamari: 'Even if we have to chew the rocks we will hold on to the lands of Samaria.”

In the video and in the message issued by the terrorist organization, it is said, among other things: “Yossi Dagan, you swear to eat rocks. We swear that you will die as pigs die, Oh sabbath pig, your death is near in Samaria. Yossi Dagan, you will burn to death, Sabbath pig, your date is very close.”

Following this, the Israel Police reinstated the level 6 threat definition, the highest level, and attached 24-hour security guards to Dagan and his home. Dagan later added: “I thank the Israel Police and the security system, as well as the thousands of residents and citizens who called and sent messages of encouragement. I would like to say clearly to the barbaric terrorists ‘You Don't scare us! We are Jews and we are stronger than you! The people of Israel will further build Samaria.’"
