This is Prime Minister Netanyahu's second hospital stay since October

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was hospitalized Saturday afternoon in the Cardiology Department at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer, was released around noon on Sunday. The Prime Minister's office said that Netanyahu's tests came out normal and that his condition is "very good."

Netanyahu underwent tests Sunday morning in the catheterization room in the cardiology department, and it was reported that a monitoring device was implanted in his heart that tests, among other things, the activity of the heart rate. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, Netanyahu underwent an imaging test designed to rule out other problems apart from dehydration, which is believed to be the problem that caused his hospitalization.

In a joint statement yesterday by the Prime Minister's Office and the Sheba Medical Center, it was stated that the Prime Minister spent time in the Sea of โ€‹โ€‹Galilee during the intense heatwave that has consumed Israel and seen temperatures skyrocket to above 40 in most areas of the Jewish State. Saturday afternoon he complained of slight dizziness, some unconfirmed reports say that he fell, hit his head, and lost consciousness for a few moments. He received the initial treatment from a paramedic of the Shin Bet's Personal Security Unit and was taken to the hospital.

Netanyahu later posted a video from the hospital, "Feeling very well, thanks everyone for your concern. I spent time with my wife in the Sea of โ€‹โ€‹Galilee in the sun without a hat and water, not a good idea. I want to thank all of you for your concern and the medical teams at Sheba who examined me, God willing, I feel very well." Due to Netanyahu's hospitalization, the cabinet meeting scheduled for Sunday morning was postponed until Monday morning.

The Prime Minister's personal doctor, Professor Zvi Berkovich arrived at the hospital. In a conversation with reporters, he clarified that the prime minister's condition is "good and stable. Also, the Prime Minister walked from his vehicle to the emergency room and is now still fully conscious. The Prime Minister's wife Sara Netanyahu and his son Avner are staying next to him.โ€

Opposition leader Yair Lapid wished Prime Minister Netanyahu a complete recovery and good health on his Twitter account.

In a statement from the Sheba Hospital, it was stated: "Our diagnosis, at the end of all the tests performed, including the laboratory tests, conclude that the reason for the hospitalization is dehydration. His heart is completely normal, without any findings and he will be released to his home in the next few hours. The medical team decided to perform a series of comprehensive and routine tests that are carried out while fully conscious, including an electrical examination of the heart, all of which came out completely normal. At no point was any disturbance in the heart rhythm detected. For the purpose of continuing routine monitoring, we decided to use a subcutaneous Holter, as is customary, to allow the Prime Minister's close professional medical team to continue regular monitoring."
