As the 25th day of the war in Israel begins, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are currently engaged in a ground operation in the Gaza Strip, while also maintaining efforts to secure other fronts. Early on Tuesday, a cruise missile launched from Yemen was intercepted en route to the Israeli city of Eilat on the Red Sea. Furthermore, countermeasures against Hezbollah's rocket launchers are ongoing. A notable moment of relief for Israelis occurred with the announcement of the release of the first IDF soldier from Hamas captivity during these ground operations.

The combined forces of the IDF, working under the guidance of the Shin Bet and Iman, have targeted approximately 300 sites over the past day. These targets include anti-tank and rocket launch positions, tunnel entrances, and military compounds belonging to the terrorist organization Hamas. In the course of their operations, ground forces engaged in several skirmishes with terrorist groups that fired anti-tank missiles or machine guns. The IDF successfully neutralized these threats and coordinated with air forces to promptly eliminate terrorist targets and infrastructure.

Brigadier General Daniel Hagari, spokesperson for the IDF, commented on the rescue of female soldier Ori Magidish from the Gaza Strip. He stated that "For the release of the female soldier, Ori, we conducted a ground operation. I won't go into further detail at this time. The more we engage in such operations, the more pressure we place on the enemy, which in turn creates more operational opportunities. This is the right course of action. Regarding her Shin Bet investigation, Ori did an outstanding job, providing invaluable information that we will utilize as needed."

David Barnea, the head of the Mossad, recently visited Qatar, following reports of an Israeli senior official landing in the country. It is understood that Barnea's visit was related to negotiations for the release of hostages held in the Gaza Strip, with Qatar taking a lead role in these negotiations.

In another development, Israeli Combat Engineering forces and other IDF units demolished the village of Aurora, located in the home region of Saleh Arouri, the deputy head of the Political Bureau and a key figure responsible for Hamas activities in Judea and Samaria. Arouri, who is currently evading Israeli authorities abroad, has come to symbolize the terrorist organization.

Foreign sources report that Israel conducted airstrikes last night on two positions held by the Assad regime and Iranian militias in the western countryside of Daraa, a region situated at the border triangle between Israel, Syria, and Jordan. The Syrian Ministry of Defense confirmed the strikes, noting that they resulted in property damage only.
