As the 28th day of the war unfolds in Israel, the Israeli offensive in Gaza continues to intensify. The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has stated that Gaza City is now fully encircled. Additionally, tensions along the Lebanese border with Israel have escalated in recent hours, marked by several long-range missile strikes attributed to Hezbollah. In response, Israel has launched counter-strikes, targeting numerous locations in southern Lebanon. On the domestic front, the IDF has been conducting operations throughout Judea and Samaria, employing both aerial assets and infantry units.

The IDF's fighter jets, equipped with precise intelligence from the IDF's intelligence division and the Shin Bet security agency, successfully targeted and eliminated Mustafa Delol, the commander of the Sabra Tel Elhua Battalion based in Gaza City. The IDF spokesperson emphasized Delol's significant role in directing operations against Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip. Delol held various key positions within the battalion and the Gaza City Brigade of Hamas.

Furthermore, Israeli combat planes, helicopters, and artillery units, in coordination with the Nahal Brigade, neutralized several terrorists who were engaged in hostile activities against Israeli ground forces. As part of the IDF's efforts within the 551st Brigade's operational zone in Beit Hanon, substantial caches of weaponry and intelligence materials were uncovered. These discoveries included weapons, ammunition, grenades, explosive charges, RPGs, communication devices, and maps.

Airstrikes within the Gaza Strip continued into the night, with fighter jets targeting terrorist infrastructure and eliminating Hamas terrorists. Simultaneously, the IDF's Navy struck buildings used by ground forces to fire at Israeli forces and destroyed anti-tank missile positions.

In Lebanon, Hezbollah acknowledged the deaths of five additional members of their organization, bringing the total number of officially recognized casualties within the group to at least 55. This announcement came amid escalating tensions, and Hezbollah's Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah is expected to deliver a speech on Friday around 3:00 PM.

On a separate front, an IDF aircraft conducted an airstrike on an armed terrorist group in the Jenin refugee camp. This action followed an incident in which gunmen hurled explosives at Israeli troops from units including Haruv, Dokifat, Duvdevan, Combat Engineering, and Border Patrol, all operating under the command of the Kafir Brigade. The airstrike resulted in casualties among the terrorists.

Additionally, engineering units discovered pre-positioned explosive charges buried under roadways, designed to harm Israeli troops. During search operations, the Haruv patrol forces uncovered a building containing explosives and demolished an underground tunnel. Meanwhile, the Duvdevan unit located an M-16 weapon, ammunition, and military equipment in another building.

According to Palestinian reports, eight individuals lost their lives in Judea and Samaria during the night. This toll included two casualties in the Alphapower camp, four in the Jenin refugee camp, one in Qalandia, and another individual allegedly shot by Israeli forces in Kfar Tel, south of Nablus, last Wednesday, succumbing to their wounds.
