On the 37th day of the war in Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continue their operations within the Gaza Strip, with a particular focus on Gaza City. Additionally, there has been a gradual increase in missile launches and other activities from Hezbollah and Shiite militias in Syria. While the IDF suspects that most of the abductees are located in the southern Gaza Strip, they are now preparing for the third phase of the ground operation, although they haven't disclosed the specifics of this phase.

For years, IDF commanders and soldiers have trained for a multi-front scenario, and on Saturday night, the IDF put that training into action. They conducted operations in Syria, Lebanon, and, of course, the Gaza Strip.

In Syria, the IDF targeted terrorist infrastructure in response to launches detected the previous night. An IDF spokesperson stated, "In response to launches towards the Golan Heights area, IDF warplanes carried out attacks on terrorist infrastructure in Syria." This marks a rare case where Israel openly admits to an attack on Syrian territory.

In Lebanon, IDF forces launched attacks on Hezbollah's terrorist targets. Among these targets was a terrorist squad from the organization responsible for several launches towards Israeli territory earlier in the day. An IDF spokesperson explained, "In response to the launches in the past day, IDF fighter jets conducted a series of strikes in Lebanese territory, destroying Hezbollah's military infrastructure and positions."

In Gaza, the IDF continued its maneuver around Gaza City and its hospitals, which have been hiding Hamas headquarters. Israeli officials estimate that since the forces arrived on the outskirts of Shifa Hospital, nearly 50,000 Gazans have left the area, leaving approximately 2,000 behind. Today, a humanitarian corridor will be opened for the evacuation of thousands more. It is expected that the majority of Gazans will leave the city and move south in the next two days, allowing the IDF to maintain complete control over the northern Gaza Strip. Hamas has already lost control of the northern Gaza Strip, and the IDF is now gearing up for the third phase of its ground operation in Gaza.

In the past day, the IDF initiated combat with significant forces inside the Shati refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip. During this operation, the forces uncovered terrorist infrastructure and eliminated terrorists. In one of the encounters, Givati Brigade combat troops identified a civilian population in a standing structure. The forces ensured the safe evacuation of the civilians through a secure route. However, terrorists fired at the forces safeguarding the Gaza residents during the evacuation. In response, Israeli soldiers returned fire, using both gunfire and tank fire to protect the evacuation process and eliminate the terrorists.
