In the aftermath of the tragic events of October 7, and despite hundreds of videos and livestream footage taken by the Hamas terrorists, the Palestinian Authority's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on a Sunday morning, accusing Israel of being the one causing most of the casualties among the participants of the Nova party.
The basis of the ministry's claim relies on a publication in the "Haaretz" newspaper, where an unnamed police source indicated that their investigation into the massacre revealed that an IDF helicopter had fired at terrorists, potentially causing casualties among Israeli civilians on the scene. It is important to note that at this stage, there is no definitive confirmation of these claims.

The President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas (Abu-Mazen) just denied the massacre of Oct7, blaming Israel for murdering Israelis.

However, in their statement, the Palestinian Authority's Foreign Ministry appears to have distorted the content of the publication. They assert that multiple Israeli helicopters, not just one, were involved in the attack on partygoers and even some nearby settlements. Their statement reads, "According to the Hebrew media, an initial investigation by the Israeli police suggested that Israeli helicopters bombed Israeli citizens on October 7, who were participating in the nature festival. The Israeli Air Force is allegedly responsible for significant destruction in the area and some of the surrounding settlements (near Gaza; Sharq). This occurred following the implementation of what is known as the Hannibal Protocol, which authorizes the police and the occupation army to take extreme measures."
The Palestinian Authority's announcement also expresses skepticism about the Israeli accounts regarding "the destruction and loss of life that occurred in the area," especially concerning the videos that surfaced showing the destruction and fires that erupted in some houses due to the bombings. They demand that the media, as well as responsible parties within the United Nations and world leaders, closely monitor the situation.
It's important to highlight that, based on documents collected by the IDF, some of which were distributed by the Hamas terrorists themselves on their Telegram channels, it is evident that they killed, raped, and engaged in all kinds of violence against the attendees of the party, along with committing crimes against humanity, including kidnapping.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that 15 people lost their lives in overnight bombings carried out by the Israeli Air Force in the southern and central regions of the Gaza Strip. According to their report, 13 of the casualties occurred during the bombing of a house in the Nuseirat camp, located in the central part of the Gaza Strip. The remaining two victims, a mother and her daughter according to the report, perished in a house that was bombed in the "European Hospital" area, situated southeast of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
