Early Sunday morning in Cairo, the Arab League members gathered for what they called “The Jerusalem Conference”. Many different Arab leaders were present, including the Palestinian Authority’s Chairman, Abu Mazen. While most of his speech was translated into English, a few minutes of Abu Mazen’s words were seemingly not delivered to the translator; those paragraphs included the Palestinian leader's claims of ownership not only of all of Jerusalem but of the Western Wall specifically.  Abu Mazen completely ignored the historic Jewish presence in the Old City of Jerusalem and refused to mention the presence of the two temples under Al-Aqsa even once.

After the opponents of the legal reform, including soldiers from the Yom Kippur War, stole a military tank from the Tel Saki Battle Memorial in the Golan Heights to use it in a protest convoy, other veterans of the war attacked them for crossing a red line. The former head of the Ashkelon Beach Council, Yair Farjon, who himself fought at Tel Saki in the Yom Kippur War and was seriously injured in the battle, criticized them sharply.

A week and a half have passed since the operation in Jericho in which the terrorists who carried out the shooting attack at the restaurant in the Almog Junction were neutralized by Israel Defense Forces soldiers. According to the Palestinians, the IDF operation killed five terrorists, however, it turns out that one of the terrorists is still alive and is hospitalized in the Israeli Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem. The information has not reached the Palestinians until this past Thursday, in light of their cancellation of security coordination with Israel over Israel's insistence on arresting militants who have attacked or are planning an attack on Israelis.

After the Knesset passed the law denying Israeli citizenship to terrorists on Wednesday, the Palestinian Authority condemned the move, despite not actually supporting the Jewish state’s existence. The law, approved by a huge majority of 94 Knesset Members, will allow the Minister of the Interior to revoke citizenship or residency from a person "convicted of a terrorist crime", who received allowances from the Palestinian Authority and deport him to the territories of the Palestinian Authority or the Gaza Strip.

The Israel Defense Forces in Hebron Thursday morning destroyed the upper floor of the house of the terrorist Mohammad Jabari, who murdered Ronan Hanania and wounded two others four months ago in a shooting attack in the Israeli settlement Kiryat Arba. The IDF spokesman announced that the floor was destroyed after a petition to stay the action residents submitted to the court was rejected.
