Two jeeps belonging to the Israel Defense Forces were ambushed by local Arabs armed with homemade explosives and rocks just north of Hebron in Judea after they became stuck on a tight road near the Arab village of Beit Omar. The vehicles and soldiers within were eventually rescued by other troops nearby, leading to 10 injured Palestinians and one dead.

Israelis remain shocked in the aftermath of the bombs set off in Jerusalem this week by Palestinian terrorists. 16-year-old Aryeh Shechopak and 50-year-old Tedsa Tshuma Ben Mada were murdered and 18 other injured, some still in serious to critical condition. Five IDF soldiers were suspended after physically attacking left-wing activists in Hebron, in addition, the Chief of Staff, Aviv Kochavi, released a statement on the matter. The Israeli Supreme Court discussed this past Wednesday the appeal filed by Muhammad Bakri, the creator of the controversial film "Jenin Jenin", following a defamation suit filed against him in a local district court. The court determined to uphold the lower court rulings but did not change the status of the film's distribution via the online 'YouTube' service owned by Google.
