Crime within the Arab-Israeli communities is peaking with shootings and murders becoming a daily occurrence. Alaa Elsach, a 29-year-old young man, was shot Thursday night by unknown people in the city of Lod. He was wounded, and later that night died of his wounds in the hospital. The police are investigating the shooting, along with other criminal cases stemming from the existence of a large black market in the city.

Six young Nazareth residents were arrested by detectives and the internal security department known as the 'Shin Bet' on the suspicion that they were planning to carry out terrorist activities on behalf of the Islamic State (ISIS) within the borders of Israel. In the joint investigation, the police and the Shin Bet found evidence that the six intended to carry out hostile activities.

Terrorist attacks in the West bank are continuing with no end in sight. Just yesterday morning, two terrorists were killed after trying to drive into Israel Defense Forces soldiers who were in the middle of an operation in the Jilzon refugee camp near Ramallah. The attempted attack is just one of a series of attacks that took place in the past few days. A few hours prior to the Jilzon attack, shots were fired at a bus and a taxi between Alon Mora and Beit Purik in Samaria, the taxi driver was slightly wounded in the back.

A taxi driver was slightly injured by shrapnel following a shooting at his vehicle and at a bus, on the road between the settlement of Itamar and Hetmar Shomron, near Nablus. The terrorist group that goes by the name “Lion’s Den”, which recently made a reputation for itself in Nablus, took responsibility for the attack.
