Throughout the Arab media in East Jerusalem, there are calls being made to prepare for the operation "The Great Dawn: at the Al-Aqsa Mosque" which will take place on Thursday at the same time as the annual Israeli Flag Parade and the ascent to the Temple Mount on Jerusalem Day, which celebrates the reunification of the city in 1967 and has always ben marked with a Parade through the old city. Palestinian activists call the march to the Temple Mount "settlers breaking into the mosque and marching flags near it" despite no Israeli being allowed to enter the mosques.

The Arab newspaper "Arab News", which is published in London, released a special edition to mark the 75th anniversary of "Nakba Day" and included a survey that examined the position of the Palestinians on a variety of issues, mainly concerning the conflict with Israel, such as the two-state solution and the Abraham Accords. While the survey also examined the extent of the Palestinians' trust in the local leadership, perhaps the most interesting part was how the Palestinians felt about a potential mediator for negotiations with Israel.

The Israeli Ministry of Defense signed an agreement with the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro for the supply of weapons, making this the third deal between the countries in recent years and comes amid a chain of arms deals between Israel and European countries in recent months.

Many jokes were circulating in the streets of Gaza all throughout Sunday surrounding the death of Abdullah Abu Geba, a 35-year-old Palestinian laborer in Israel who was killed on Saturday by a rocket fired by the Islamic Jihad. In Gaza, they chose to commemorate him and defined him as "the luckiest Gazan martyr in the world."

In the aftermath of Israel's Shield and Arrow Operation in Gaza, the Islamic Jihad and Hamas jointly declared victory against the “Zionist enemy”. This claim is faulty for a number of reasons such as the fact that Hamas completely avoided joining the Jihad during the operation. Perhaps the biggest fact behind their false claim of joint victory is that there were only two murdered casualties on the Israeli side of the fence; one an elderly Israeli resident of Rehoboth and the other an Arab resident of Gaza working in Israel.
